Tersum is a stable start-up founded in 2007 in Los Angeles, CA. After working in the hosting industry for a number of years we saw a need for high-availability hosting. We have a simple goal, keep your VPS online 24/7 and do everything to support it. From our previous hosting experience we bring system admins, developers, tech support, and management.

Powerful Servers
Tersum's high-availability servers are owned and managed by Tersum. We do not lease dedicated servers due to the complexity of the grid. All systems are DELL PowerEdge systems. We keep several systems on hand and tagged as cold spares, and an extensive inventory of replacement parts to keep our servers online and available.

All servers run on RAID so if a hard drive fails, the other drives in the array would continue to run normally while we replace the failed drive with zero downtime.

Reliable Network
Connectivity is completely redundant at every point of our infastrcuture. Traffic is routed through Cisco routers. Using BGPv4 with a mixture of bandwidth providers such as Xeex, Level3, Savvis and Hurricane Electric our network is able to sustain failures from our upstream providers seamlessly.

Along with full automatic redundancy of BGPv4, we maintain N+1 network upgrade policy to ensure that we always have a spare router and/or connection available for immediate fail-over during unexpected situations.

Facility
N+1 UPS and Generator ensures a 100% Power SLA from our providers. Security infastructure includes key-card access, handprint scanners, 24x7 multiple security guards and 24x7 video surveillance.
